Monitoring

Tools → Monitoring answers is everything working? The badge shows Services online, or Needs attention if something is wrong.

Live service health

• Servers: how many are online.
• Applications: how many are available, with No outages detected when all is well.
• Monitoring agents: how many servers have a reporting monitoring agent.

A Needs attention banner appears if an agent has stopped reporting or traffic looks unusual.

Services and agents

Every application and server is listed. Servers show Online, or Waiting with the time of their last check-in.

A server shows Waiting when its agent hasn’t checked in for more than 5 minutes. To fix it, open the server and click Sync heartbeat secret or Re-run bootstrap. See Server controls.

Recent operational events

The last few events, such as agents going quiet, check-ins resuming or unusual traffic, with times like 5min ago.

Click Refresh to update the page. For visitor numbers, click Open Analytics.

To be emailed when a server stops responding, turn on Server unreachable in Notifications.
