Billing
Open Billing in the left-hand menu. The page is titled Account billing.
When you are billed
Section titled “When you are billed”Servers, applications, email seats, domains and team seats are billed together on your account’s billing cycle, either monthly or yearly. Anything added mid-cycle is charged pro-rata for the days left in the cycle, then at the full price from the next cycle. Domains renew annually.
The summary
Section titled “The summary”| Tile | What it shows |

| Credits | Any credit that will be used before your card is charged. |
| Payment method | Your card, Manual / bank transfer, or None on file. |
Next invoice shows the due date, amount and line items of your next bill.
Active services lists everything you are billed for, with its Status and Amount. Statuses you may see:
- Pending payment: waiting for payment to complete.
- Deferred until …: billing starts on that date.
- ends this cycle: the service has been cancelled and stops at the end of the cycle.
Reference prices lists the current prices for server plans, edge applications, mailboxes and team seats.
Change between monthly and annual billing
Section titled “Change between monthly and annual billing”- Under Billing cycle, choose Monthly or Annually.
- A notice confirms when the change takes effect, which is usually at the start of the next cycle.
We email you 7 days and 24 hours before an annual renewal.
Update your card or download invoices
Section titled “Update your card or download invoices”Click Manage billing to open the secure Stripe billing portal. There you can change your card, see past invoices and download receipts.
Approving charges
Section titled “Approving charges”Whenever you order something that costs money, the portal shows a confirmation pop-up first, for example Confirm server subscription or Confirm team seat. It shows:
- Due today (pro-rata): charged now for the rest of this cycle.
- Then each billing cycle: the recurring price.
Click the approve button to continue, or Cancel. If a card is on file it is charged immediately. Otherwise you continue to a secure Stripe payment page.
