Server details and controls

Click a server in Servers to open its page. The header shows its name, IP address, location, energy badge and status.

A server’s detail page

Four cards show CPU, Memory, Disk and Data transferred over the last 7 days. If the disk is getting full, click the clean-up icon on the Disk card (Disk cleanup) to remove temporary files and old logs.

Below these you’ll see:

  • Plan: the server’s size.
  • Heartbeat agent: Active if the monitoring agent is reporting, Stale if it has stopped, or Not installed.
  • Carbon config and 360° carbon agent: whether emissions are being measured on this server.

To be emailed when CPU, memory or disk run high, see Notifications.

The Applications list shows everything running on the server.

  • Click Add application to deploy something new here. See Deploy an application.
  • Click Manage to open an application.
  • To move an application to another server, choose a server from Migrate to… and click Migrate.

To measure this server’s emissions, set Telemetry boundary to Server — 360° carbon agent on VM, then click Enable & install 360° agent. To stop measuring, choose None and save.

The server needs a public IP address before the agent can be installed.

The Server controls panel on the right has maintenance actions. Each one asks you to confirm first.
